So Last monday ( Memorial Day) we had a family picnic....
Some of us sat and just enjoyed each others company, with our typical family gossip of course but nonetheless we were content to relax
Here is Grandpa just watching in his usual manor... calm, collected, and cool
But near by all havoc is breaking loose with the Halvorson family
Samuel collected all the small toys and refused to share with any other kids. Since he is a very smart kid he figured out if they are not in the water no one will try and take them so he kept them all in his shirt :)

Meanwhile Taylor and Abby sought safety in the corner of the pool discussing oh so important secrets i am sure... if i were in them i would stay there too!

Christine- its been to long we will have to catch up soon i am bummed you arent in june... i have had ablog for a while i just NEVER UPDATE!
JENN- i know they always do! it was fun i wish we ALL got together more often but i will just have to wait a month til your wedding and then that wish will come true again!
Isn't it great that some things never change...like our uncles wrestling in the pool! :) It was a fun kick off to summer bbq and swim parties! Now we just need to have an outdoor movie night! :)
